A while ago, I got an idea to find an old vintage wooden radio box, and replace the guts with a small practice amp. I found a nice reproduction Cathedral Style radio, that was in great working order, and it sounded so nice, that I decided to make my own vintage looking radio box, and keep the Cathedral radio in my shop. Keep in mind here, this reproduction radio I fabricated is not suppose to be in "new condition" or have a flawless finish. Things get built much faster if quality is left for the better projects, like real furniture. Any way, I have some peg board out in the shed that will make a fine cover for the back side. I sure like looking at this, rather then that ugly black cabinet/case that amp was in.
The radio dial is a fake, it's a picture I stole off the web, and stuck behind some plexiglass. The knobs are from a one inch dowel I sliced up.
