What do you play it through, and what kind of mic do you use?
Have you ever tried a piezo bridge Pick-up?

I play a jazzmaster through a super champ XD.  I run a cable from the extension out of the super xd to the one twelve inch speaker in my 1600 combo amp.  the sound is pretty cool with great tone.

Din't think of cabling my SC XD to my other amp with the bigger speaker. I'll have to consult my electronics tech and give that a try, thanks NYjazzmaster !

Cheers,

I play a Fender Stratocaster and Dean bass, but I also own a Laguna guitar (my 1st) and a spider 3 amp, which I seriously need to ditch for newer versions, lol. I use M-Audio recording equipment and I have Ableton 6.1.1 and the trial for 8.1.1 recording software. I also play drums, piano, and a little recorder. I have a Casino keyboard and a Stagg drum kit w/ a small high tom, large high tom, floor tom, snare, high-hat, and a ride. I'm looking into getting a crash soon. I'm currently in a band Day by Day and we'rre recording a demo track w/like 10 songs on it, which range from blues to rock to acoustic-rock/Indie-rock. My Youtube link is http://www.youtube.com/user/daybyday12music. We're in the mix of getting an original music video up, with an original song of course. Our band members are Marlee Wojcicki, Daniel Martinez, and Nick Martin. We live in Arizona and any advice on finding a dang drummer would be great!

Playing a MIN Fender Strat with Custom Shop Texas Specials pups installed in neck and middle and a Diamondback Humbucking Pickup Bridge. Highly recommend that Mod. Also a MIN Fender Tele no mods.  Last is my Ibanez JS100 Joe Satriani model.  I'm running them into a Marshall JCM 2000 Dsl 100 into My Marshall 1960AHW Hand Wired Cabinet with Celestion G12H-30 re-issue speakers 120 watt at 16Ohm.  Plenty O Loud just ask all of my neighbours.  hehehehe.  Hope to add a 70's Strat to the collection soon.  Love the fat headstock and fender logos, like the one Hendrix used at woodstock super sweet olympic white with a maple fretboard.

I use two amps: A Traynor YCV20WR and a Traynor YCV50Blue. These amps provide all the power and sound I need for almost any gig. The YCV20WR has a DI so I can hook it right into any PA system or I can hook it into the YCV50Blue. The 20 is a twenty watt amp and the 50 is a 50 watt amp.

I use two guitars: A Greg Bennett Royale RL3 and a Greg Bennet Avion AV3. The RL3 is what I use to play jazz and has an amazing tone and ease of play that much more expensive guitars have. The AV3 is a Les Paul copy. It has lots of tone and deep end and sounds great for any kind of rock.

I also have an Alverez acoustic guitar that I run through a 100 watt portable PA system. It has clear and deep sounds that cut through most playing situations when I need to.

Hello All,

My guitar is an SG Goth 1982 / black with chrome bridge and accessories.
I also have an Ibanez Acoustic electric (sweet sounds) fishman controls.

I use the SpiderJam from Line 6 for the SG. I get a great compliment with the foot switch which lends me the option to exercise multiple sounds during a jam session. It also sports a lot of canned tracks to play along with if your new to guitar and don't have others to play with. The great thing about the jam-tracks is you can customize the BPM and the key to fit your needs.

I play through my tried and true Fender "75" for the Ibanez while adding controls through my Digitech RP500 to tweak my delays, trem and throat when I need to.

I have an old fender strat which is pretty beat up but still gives its best when I pick it up. That's all for now and I hope to chat with many of you as time goes by.

p.s. The reason I joined was because of the Chord and Tabs App on the website...Very Kewl!

Your best bottle of Cognac and fresh horses for the band, for tonite we ROCK!
