HEY

Does anyone have any tips for when performing LIVE?!!! I'm gonna play in a few weeks time and need some advice on HOW NOT TO KILL MYSELF!!!!

Practice till you can do it blindfolded,  but, while your  practiceing, Smile, pretend you the one they've been waiting for, stand tall, and play. If you can have a mental image of yourself, don't just play the guitar,  your makin music and thats what we all live for!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!When your done, wave to the folks.You'll do fine Let us know how it went!!!!!!!!

Great post Buddy, But im gonna add to it a little
Pick the person thats smiling the most and watch them without accually watching them and that helps,also i dont know how long uv been playing but try not to look down at ur fingers if u can keep from it and most of all SMILE!!!!!!!! Its ur day to shine o shine like a bright star.(and dont wear brown pants) Hot pint yea that works......LOL just kidding........SMILE HAVE FUN AND BE URSELF........O almost forgot if u mess up dont stop polaying keep on going!!!!!!!!!

I'd Like to know how the Solo Went? Tell us How you did, Did our advice do any Good?

For future reference based on my previous experiences: get into the music, if your into it then the audience will be also. Ignore any mistakes, most of the audience prolly wont even notice if you don't point them out. Have fun with it.

LOL Mort brown pants!!! Well, u weren't far off ... we had 2 wear our skool uniform... its burgundy & except I wore a skirt !!!

well... an overview......... i did well
but i stuffed up the 1st song (dats wat u get wen u play a song that u suk @ 1st up............. o well) but the speaker things wateva theyre called were turned on low @ der time.... lucky
did ok with the 2nd and 3rd songs and finished with the song (james bond theme) that everyone liked

im pretty happy

I'm really happy that all turned out well for you! Not every one gets to enjoy that special  moment, I hope you continue to perform every chance you get.

Live performance....Hmm some let there playing speak for itself some prefer powerstancing/moving around stage some perform more than they actualy play...this depends on type of music...dificulty of peice and your personality...I am very animated...not deliberatly I am jsut always that way doing some little dance or skiping accross stage...Powerstancing windmills lol basically Rock 101
