id suggest finding a marshall tube stack, sometimes used ones can be good if you build in the fact you may have to spend some dough to get them up to par, i use an old GARNET 100 watt tube amp plugged into a 4 x15" peavey cab and it can shatter my windows if im not carefull "what??? what was that you said? what????"

Naturally, bd if you have a couple few grand lying around you can't beat a Marshall tube amp. Now based on what I saw when I was bass amp shopping I wouldn't buy nothing till I'd also checked out all of Line6 's products. That line6 70 watt bass amp with the single 10 inch speaker would have come darn close to being heard in a full band practice situation. Not too bad considering the general rule for bass amps used to no less than 300 watts was necessary for band.

lookin good dude, if you want my opinion, stand up! and im dying to hear some distortion from you, it will make your notes and scales and slides go together much smoother and will cover up your mistakes and hesitations, when you are a pro, you can lose the distortion, as you have seen, i still use distortion hahaha, and i got a long way to go, but if you stand, your confidence will grow as you rise up
