Well yeah i need help on what i need to learn or practice so i'm ready for this audition thats coming up for my churches youth band. (either going for Lead or Rhythm, but it doesn't really matter to me atleast i get to play)

That's very broad Keiko ... how far along are you in playing?  (i.e. what do you know already?)

You  need to concentrate  on two things, I would talk to the director and see what kind of music you'll be doing.Secondly, I would practice the music that  you talk with him about.Don't worry about the audition, do the best you can.I admire you for wanting to try.A lot of folks want to play, but are afraid of making a fool of them selves.we all make mistakes, so if you make one, Keep on playing, Don't stop. Ha sorry for not being on for awhile um i got a new computer a few weeks ago and i've been busy.

My church youth band audition went wel.  they seem to be amazed at what i can do for me being able to play for nine months.

Currently i'm waiting for the director to contact me (any day now)

And i recently had an audition at my local music store and the people said that i was a natural musician and they want me to from a band with some of thier musicians. So now i gues i'm just practicing and learning while i wait for a call.

Don't get discouraged, keep on playing.  It'll happen.
