My friend approached me and asked me to play guitar for his high school show on March 5th. Me my drummer and my bassist are playing and we created two simple songs. The first song consist of a punkish power chord progression, and in our second song I use an open chord progression. The thing i'm going to ask, is if someone could compose and tab out for me a quick and easy but good sounding punk solo for me to play for our punk song, since I have difficulty creating solos at this point.
Thanks in advance

this is an odd request. perhaps if you indicated a key or gave us some chord progression to work with you would get more accurate help.
also welcome to chord book hang around hear and your bound to get better at creating solo's
also notice there is a chat room on the site we sometimes hang out there and may be able to get a better exchange for creating a solo for a punk rock song although admittidely not my specialty as i am more into blues and rock.
if my calculations are correct SLINKY + ESCULATOR = EVERLASTING FUN

Ah I am sorry I meant to type the chords I was playing but forgot. I am usng a E5 Power on strings 4&5 then C5 on the same strings then hitting a B5 on strings 5&6 then repeating E5 & C5 but then shifting to D5 on strings 4&5. and just repeating that pattern through out, like I said im keeping it simple. But I still need a solo, I am not looking for a epic 6 1/2 minute solo just something nice and simple. Thanks in advance. -Bill-

punk?! now you are speaking my language it is simple cut out the word solo and insert
the word bridge or break down. only fancy pants people know how to solo (i wish
i knew how) so when you have played the intro verse chorus verse chorus and its time
for your solo switch it up rearrange the chords you use into a different pattern speed them
up or slow them down drop into just the bass and drums or a single guitar for a couple times then
bring in the rest of the band before returning for the last verse and chorus.
and the point is to really bring the crowd in so simple and catchy are your best bet.
i wrote a song for my group where we play a power chord progression of F# B A# and the breakdown
bridge solo part is A# B E F# then to after playing that 3 times to head back into the verse we play
A# B C# D where each chord equals 4 beats.
Or throw in smoke on the water either
E G A E G AA# E G A G E EEEE
or
A C D A C DD# A C D C A AAAA
or i think the correct way is
G A# C G A# CC# G A# C A# G GGGG
just think smoke on the water and if the song if fast
when you hit this part slow it down Dant DANT Dan DANt DANt DA AN DANt DANt DANt DANt Dant
