This site is very helpful but I am looking for a site that aswell as allowing you to see and listen to all the chords and then put them into a progression, I'm looking for a site that lets you hear the chords in a 'string' effect and maybe other instruments etc, so does anyone know of any sites like that, any help would be great

I've seen that Band in a Box and its way to complicated for what I'm lookin for, here is an exmaple of what I'm after - http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio2/soldonsong/ … game.shtml

This site lets you see the chords, hear them and also put them in progressions. What I'm lookin for is something like this only better, this site is a little restrictive in areas

...I'm NEITHER the web designer nor web administrator, but what you're after is currently (*) beyond what this site has to offer. I don't believe such features are currently possible...without major "...code re-writing..."

(*) try contacting the administrator directly for more help.

Hello O.P.H.

Have you noticed the 'My chords' feature here? You can store up to 36 chords and you can listen to them in the sequence you arrange them in. I don't know if that's going to help you or not but it sure helps me when I want to play along to work on timing, strumming rhythms and chord accuracy. I'm no guitarist, but I will be someday and this place will largely be the reason.

Thanks Guitar Zen,

Also with the 'MyChords' feature you can save any chord from the guitar into your MyChords Sequence. Then you can drag and drop them around.
You can play them straight or turn on the loop to hear them repeated.

cheers,
