I wrote a pretty song using the key of C and learned "Bye Bye Miss American Pie" acousticly by Don McLean. Seems i've hit a dead end and a rode block; A rock and hard place. I can't seem to make anything these past couple days. I think I have neough songs for now, but to help others out and a lot of people in general, anyone know any good ones? I'll post this on the beginners forum as well.

I have also found out through looking up the tabs for some of my favorite songs
that it has more to do with how you strum then the actual chords

check out a song by flight of the concords called if your into it

2 chords C and A and a awesome strumming pattern
and really funny lyrics and back up vocals

at least my mom thinks i play good

Lol my high E string broke and i don't have time to go to guitar center, so i can't play any 7ths using conventional means; I'll have to use inversions.
