did anyone see that solo pete townsend did in the middle of his music montage. if you know of a link for that plaease post. he literally beat the solo out of his guitar. I am more of a who fan than ever. it was only about four seconds long but it brought a tear to my eye. Quality not quantity!!

Oh wow, I completely agree! I watched some clips on youtube the day after the Super Bowl and I was completely impressed with the man. He has not lost his touch.

I've heard quite a bit of criticism about that performance which I regard as unfounded; those two, as you said, beat (or perhaps banged?) it out! Sure they're older, but Who doesn't get older? Should I quit living before I die? I thought the show was solid and Townsend in particular seemed well within his element.
