OK, i really just want to make a simple, nice sounding solo, and nothing on chord book seems to be helping. Any advice?

Follow the thread about intervals in another post, then using the chords in the song you want to develope your solo for, pick out notes from those chords (those are scale notes) and put them in an order you like, decide on timing and speed, then embelish like crazy. I know, it sounds too easy doesn't it?
