This is me playing a couple of Hisaishi's music. His arrangements moved me so much that I started seriously on my guitar!
And last one was "Moon River" that I learned frong Sungha.

I'm trying to find more of something that I'd like but it's hard!
I must like the music and enjoy playing it, so I'll definitely work very hard on the piece!
I'll look up for something in this forum, hopefully I'll also be part of it!
Thanks for watching!

Welcome to chordbook antapole and very nice videos...thank you very much. I'm inspired to study more with my classical guitar. May i ask, is the arrangement of 'Moon River' your own? You may have noticed chordbook has a chatroom...i hope you stop by when you can and say hello. Thank you again for the inspirational videos antapole, you have a great style and i feel your timing is good. I'll try to do better with mine.

Cheers,

You're welcome antapole, well i wouldn't say i 'play' classical guitar, but i have one and i'm beginning to develop a feel for it. I noticed right away with the flat fretboard that grand barre chords are a bit more difficult but there is the benefit that when i play my steel string acoustic, grand barre chords are easier than ever. So instead of saying i 'play' classical guitar, i better say i'm teaching myself to play classical guitar and my first big inspiration was years ago when the instrumental "Classical Gas" came out by Mason Williams. Then when youtube came out i would stumble across classical guitarist's vids and i took a look at Andres Segovia's work and i was really impressed. Then i saw Anna Vidovic and man, i'm hooked. I now want to play classical someday.

Ok on Sungha Jung's version of "Moon River", i like it. Of course you've listened to Henry Mancini's version of the same song, yes? Again, thanks and i'll keep practicing and learning my way around the intervals all over the fret board on my classical so i can improvise without playing 'sour' notes so to speak.

Cheers,
