Has anyone read Rock Troubadours by Jeffrey Pepper Rodgers, and if you have, what did you think of it?  I wanted to look through it at a bookstore before I bought it, but I can only find it online.

Can anyone recommend another good book about songwriting?  I like to play acoustic folk-rock type stuff.  My heaviest influences are James Taylor, Ani Difranco, Joni Mitchell, and Paul Simon.

Thanks!

Hello seaspell19, while I haven't bought any books about song writing I'd think that if you google what you're generally asking about, you'll be surprised at what you may find. Hope that helps a little !

Well writing songs is not an easy task tp say the least,But it can be a very fun and exciting thing,Wat i do is write anything and everything that comes to mind down then go back and try and make sense of it all,as far as reading any books i havent but if u look on the net u cann find seminars and such to go to.......Good Luck...
