This is a great site for learning chords and scales. but one thing i have noticed is that it only shows one basic form of pentatonic scales, particularly majors. i have read some posts on here asking about how to move up the fretboard with scales. basically, i expect more experienced players to know the alternate forms, but for beginners, major pentatonics can also be played like so(the blue x's would the the root note of the scale):
example in key of "f"
fret e a d g b e
1 x
2
3 x x x
4
5 x x x x
6 x
7 x x
8 x x
9
10 x x
This form of major pentatonics is transferable to any major key, just change to root note to the note of the key you wish to play in.

Hello metalriffzach, welcome to the board...I like the way you wrote the scale and would you be ok with me copying and using that format?
Cheers,
