Man I love the page on scales, it has helped me a great deal with soloing.  I go to a jam night every friday and now I jam out and solo with the other guys who are playing!  I'm lovin it!

And though the rules of the road have been lodged
It's only people's games that you've got to dodge
And it's allright ma, I can make it

I have been playing professionally for 21 yrs and this is the BOMB!  It doesn't matter how long anyone has been playing.... this is helpful to anybody.  The Virtual Guitar & Chordbook is the best.  You can construct chords, find the name of the chord (unless it is just a bunch of noise), and listen to it.  Too cool!!  New players and seasoned ones alike TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THIS SITE!!!!

Love the site so far, let's see where it goes. I hope to exchange some ideas and gain new insights.

Im with you on that one,  I'm trying to learn some blues riffs and chords, so far it is pretty cool.  Do you know any chords in the tuning of CFCFAC.

I must agree, I found this site not too long ago and it's been bookmarked since. As relatively beginner guitar player, it has been very helpful.

I've been playing, off and on, since 1964. I agree that this site is is a great one. No ifs, ands, or buts. However, I can't help imagining how much better I would be if computers and this site had existed way back when.

cool man 1964, what was music like back then, there are tones of influences today from punk to ska to regge and rock, but that music is more mainstream today, so what was playing music like back then.

I have to wonder what it takes to be considered a 'Pro' Guitar Player. Is it the same as for a Pro Golfer, Pro Bull Rider and a Pro Luthier?

I've been checkin' it out,,,Nice job on the site.  I really like the Jam Session part. I have found that practicing the scales while listening to the back beats help tremendously.
I believe the Jam Session could be improved by adding more selections/backbeats in different Keys...ie) I love the B Major and Minor backbeats but it would be really cool if I could have the option to switch the Key to say...E..
Just my suggestion..but I would like to see it on here. I think it would help alot.
