i've been playing an acoustic guitar for quite some time and i want to buy an electric. i have decided to buy a greg bennett electric guitar because i've heard they are good. i want a blues jazz rock n roll kind of sound with a warm tone. i also want to perform with it.

Well in my point of view they both sound great and they sound similar

But i would go for the ROYALE..

i've always wanted one of those guitars.... Its got that chunky but stunning look and people have always great comments about 'em..

Well this wouldn't really help you much.... but just go for the one you would really like.

I have been playing guitar for the past 44 years and I have struggled with guitars and amps for some time. I used to own a Sears Silvertone 120 Watt Amp All tube. It was sweet and loud. I have had Roland, Peavey, Line 6, Vox, and some unknown amps too. I have owned Gibson and Epiphone guitars. I have had Fender guitars, Yamaha, Takemine, and recently I bought two Greg Bennett Guitars.

I have the Royale RL3 and the Avion Av3. I use two Traynor all tube amps. The sound of the Royale and the Traynor amps is amazing. The Royale plays more like a $1500 to $2000 guitar. I sells for around $750 new but you can find it a bit cheaper.

The Avion is a Les Paul copy and the Royale is an ES 335 copy.

The Royale is an amazing guitar. I use it for playing blues, jazz, or rock and it shines through every time.

Yeah... These are all good choices, but Eddie Van Halen has just recently finished a tour to validate his own guitars the "EVH Wolfgang" Series  I have been playing for 38 years myself and after some research I may seriously consider one of them myself.

There is a pretty good video interview with Eddie Van Halen talking about his EVH Wolfgang guitar on this site http://guitarworldstore.com

Good luck!

man id buy everyone or any of them i could afford those are all really nice
and there are a ton of other great guitars to choose from but it comes
down to how you are going to play it.
at one point i looked at some of my favorite bands and realized that
the gear they have helps them make the sounds that i dig so much.
and all though i don't want to copy them id look in to trying some
off that gear cause it could be what i'm looking for

at least my mom thinks i play good
