  Please can any body tell me how to compose a song on guitar I know nothing about it and I know nothing about composing guitar chords for any song .Do I have to take proper music classes? (That I can‚Äôt afford due to my studies) Is it possible to learn all this stuff at home (please recommend any books or e books that r available easily) I have learnt to play many songs  in very sort time span but some things r letting me down. Firstly, I have a passion for music but my studies r making it very difficult. Secondly I don‚Äôt find any proper institution in my locality. I also don‚Äôt know music signs and language .I know some of u will think that I don‚Äôt deserve to learn it at all .but believe me I am committed to my passion. Please, please some body help me.

First, you need to develop some sort of technique to be able to strum chords at least. Learn the open chords(chords with open strings used, preferably low on the neck) C,A,G,E,D,F,Am,Em,Dm,G7,A7,F7,D7 etc... and practice switching between them, until it isn't too much of a challenge anymore.
