Cadd2 = R, 2, 3, 5...here's just one way to finger it:
Eo----- 3
B|o---- R
Go----- 5
Do----- 2
A|--o-- R
E|----- x
...the 3rd on the D4 string has been "dropped" a full step down to 2nd, but the 3rd on E1 string is RETAINED.
...notice that Cadd2 is not the same as Csus2, which has NO 3rd, only R, 2 and 5:

B|o---- R
Go----- 5
Do----- 2
A|--o-- R
E|----- x
..or:
E|--o-- 5
B|--o-- 2
Go----- 5
Do----- 2
