my fender amp has the switch stuck on gain, the switch clicks and goes in and out and what not, but the gain efeect never goes away... i took the panel out and everything looks like its intact... is there anyway to fix this?

you can try opening up the amp to gain access to the switch,  and spray it good with an electrical contact cleaner.   if that dosnt help,   try replacing the switch..   if it still dont work,  theres probably trouble in the electronics,  in which case its best to take somewhere that can deal with that type of problem.

edit:  if you try the contact spray cleaner,  be sure to work the switch on & off while spraying it,  and ya may want to put some paper towels around the surrounding area to catch the run off,  and over spray.  some cleaners are harmful to finishes,  and other componants so be careful...
