haha! dude, believe it or not, that av is a guitar. it's an acrylic electric guitar. i think acrylics some sorta fancy plastic...but either way it looks awesome. although all of it isn't clear like most of 'em, this one is still considered an acrylic guitar. if you search for some pics on google or something, you will also find that they come in different colors too.

I like the one I got, the tone is really BIG.

Thats a monster of a mandolin Paul.  I guess sasquatch stops in to play it now and then!

they also are a bit out of my budget range...DANG IT!!!!!!

But wood resonates, is acrylic able to do the same? They might be cool looking but what quality of tone do they have and do they have any sustain?

i dunno. i don't have one, so maybe you'd have to look up a vid or something. maybe acrylic is made for guitar making, and is special for this particular purpous....who knows?
