Thanking you all for the warm welcome......I do however have a question I am hoping someone can answer or guide me to an area where I can get some instruction.............
I have little to no problem playing most any chord or progression, I do have a huge problem in changing time signatures within a song or to define it better........... I suck at the transition. Any help out there?

Generally, just follow the bass guitar, it should be laying down the time sig the guitar wants to follow.

Welcome to the site bruh! Im sure you will not be left unsatisfied here in Chordbook ..............i sound like a commercial, LOL!
Bob Dylan
Cavett-..well when you mention the National Anthem and talk about playin it in any unorthodox way, you immediately get hate mail....
Hendrix- I didnt think it was unorthodox, I thought it was beautifull.....but there you go
I've been imitated so well I've heard people copy my mistakes.
Jimi Hendrix

epi6string, make sure you read as much of the old stuff on the boards as you can. I've been going through some of Old Tele Man's posts, and anyone who wants to learn some serious theory needs to check it out.

Good for you cosialesato, the two OTM theory series will put anyone on the fast track and you'll definitely have a leg up when you're able to apply some of the theory to the guitar. For example, you prolly read in OTM's posts about 'how to make chords'....and about 'triads', what notes from the scale they consist of, how many and even why. Thanks for bringing this up !
Cheers,

I think I've been on the fast track for a while now, but that definitely boosted my speed.
There's way too much on the boards to read and learn in a day, but every little bit of theory you absorb will help out your guitar playing immensely. I made that connection a couple weeks ago, and I've come a long way since then.
