...here's something that will help you identify each DEGREE note in any key.

...simply PRINT a copy of each image (on cardboard or stiff paper...rescale as necessary, original is 4" across); cut around the edges; poke a small hole through center of each; assemble using a fold-over brad to hold the two parts together.

...everything is pretty self-explanatory:

A) Position the ROOT note above the black arrow on the left and simply read off the corresponding notes and their degrees.
B) The five red letterings in the center are respectively (left-to-right): Root, 3rd, 5th, dominant 7th, and Octave.
C) The four little red dots indicate the notes comprising a diminished 7th, use only the first three for a triad chord.

...it was helpful to my students back in 1971 when I lived in Yuma, AZ, but I'm sure it's just as useful today to you guys and gals here.
