Sorry havent been on lately, but I just played for the band at church for the first time this last Sunday. Just one word, "WOW!" It was so fun and I kept on strumming even when my arms felt like they wanted to quit. But it was great and it was a great first experience for me by playing for the first time out for our church.
Thanks guys~
We're playing 4 new songs next week
Lyrics: Free Strum
goes like this: G,D,Em,C repeat: and theres more but I dont have the music sheet in front of me.

those are boring chords. I like the E A B progression better and you play it all with open bar chords

Playing in your church is always exciting. We have a senior group at our little church, It's fun to play for the little old ladies with the blue hair. Just make sure that your tuned to the piano!!!!!!! It helps ,really it does.

Bob Dylan
Cavett-..well when you mention the National Anthem and talk about playin it in any unorthodox way, you immediately get hate mail....
Hendrix- I didnt think it was unorthodox, I thought it was beautifull.....but there you go
I've been imitated so well I've heard people copy my mistakes.

That sounds GREAT! I've been at this gutar "thing" for about 4 months now and am still a "closet" player. I'm looking forward to the time I can come out of my closet. I hope people will recognize my songs!! Right now my goal is to be able to get together with my coach and another friend to JAM and not embarass myself.
Thanks, you've given me some encouragement!!
