so i broke my guitar amp little by little over the last couple of years  and now it dosnt work so now iv been using the only other amp i got a bass amplifire. So my question is it bad to use a guitar on a bass amp besides it sounding bad

It is better to try and fail then never to try at all

Wiggs,

It aint gonna hurt anything.  But it just aint gonna sound good. A bass amp is designed to pass the lower freq's. The speaker(s) and or electronics are not designed to pass the upper mid range or high (treble) freqs.....

Let me add to that just a little in case of future. Your guitar can't hurt a bass amp cuz a bass amp is like a fortress. However, a bass will shred the speaker cone in your guitar amp with very little effort.
