Well Dean, we can certainly have the midsummer chordbook party at your place. Do you have enough room for a bunch of tents and will the jammin' till the wee hours 'round the campfire bother the neighbors?

Also and this is a total aside, should i bring my flyrod along with a couple of gits? Oh and finally, will this be week long or week end?

Cheers,

MontanaMoose

O O O .......I'll go one better than that I'll bring a stage......And my Flyrod!!! and .....any way sound will be supplied.....

SOUND!?!?!  It depends how many need to "plug in".  I would guess it would wind up being an "unplugged" weekend/week.  My neighbors probably wouldn't appreciate us overloading the local power grid!!  I have a deck down at the lake to serve as a stage.  My "coach" would definitely join in any jam session.  If YOU guys got loud enough, you might be invited to play at some of the local establishments on the lake.  My coach is playing with an old friend at one of the places tomorrow night.

CHEERS to you TOO!!!

KEEPING IT FUN, Dean

Wonder what the round trip tariff is from Aus to Wi USA ? And from UK ?

You've got a great idea brewing here Dean. Wow, what if this happened, say next summer. I could easily go since my uncle is just over in MI and could visit him again.

Just a hop skip and a jump for Paul to come over with a cigar box git...

Hoss could pick someone up....oh reminds me, do you have over the road tractor parking?

What a plan....yeah, we'll try to keep it down....the neighbors and all....hmm..could get a variance and
call it a guitar retreat...Isle of Wight style...all acoustic...but trying not to see if wooden gits float whilst
playin' everynite on the deck down at the lake.

Ok, i need pictures...thanks again Dean...something to think about for sure if you're up for it !

Cheers,

GuitarZen

If we set up at the lake deck, we'd probably have a whole bay full of boats listenin' in!!

BTW, GZ....we don't have anything close to a parking area for OTR tractor/trailers.

Maybe by next summer I'll be good enough to at least sit in on a few EASY things.  My goal right now is to get good enough by next spring to play along with my coach on some stuff (meaning: play outside of my closet.)  ;-)

KEEPING IT FUN, Dean

Hey, that would be cool too Dean, I like boats ! Ok on parking for a big rig....we'll have to figure out something else for Hoss.

By next summer you'll be better at this than I am Dean, i have no doubt. Just take it easy on me once you get rockin'. Speaking of which, are you trying to learn any particular genre/style lately? I'm all over the place but i'm thinking that helps me in each. Hopefully. Yeah me too...by next summer i should be ready to hit the bigs...J/K !

Cheers,
