I am looking for a new amp and I need help. I was telling my friend that I wanted a Line 6 because I am more familiar with them and they have a lot of presets. She told me that her dad has a Vox and it is really good. I saw an affordable one at guitar center; same with a Line 6, they're pretty evenly priced so which should I get?

Hello car93, unless someone here has owned or at least tried both amps, you'll get pretty much the same answer from everyone and that's try them both with your guitar and then decide which one you like best for what you're wanting an amp to do. Or the short answer is 'try before you buy' and in your case, try them both and compare.

Be willing to play some other amps as well. It's not uncommon to go somewhere to look at one or two amps but find that another one you hadn't considered fits your needs better.
