im trying to get better at finger picking and i was hoping for some suggestion  on songs that utilize that technique so i can try an practices

Try fingerpickin every thing u play thats wat i do.....But look up some Jerry reed  and Chet Atkins vids they are very good finger pickers

i don't know any easy fingerpicking songs, but i do know that there are tons of tutorials for fingerpicking on youtube. also, andy mckee, don ross, and antoine dufour are incredibly good fingerpickers. look 'em up.

I think the rythym for Hey There Delilah by Plain White T's is fingerpicked and Snow Patrol's I think it's called Stay Here.  I also heard that Mark Knopfler and Dire Straits does alot of fingerpicking.  Hope I've helped.

good answer, "Chet Atkins has a lot of nice tunes to finger pick.

"Dust in the Wind"  by Kansas.  There are even you-tube vids that explain the pickin patern. It sounds pretty busy but is actually pretty easy.

hehe....i never found out who delilah was....but that's a pretty sweet song!

i just got done watching napoleon dynamite, and i think the very first song in the movie (we are going to be friends by white stripes) is finger picked. i don't know if the guitar player actually does finger pick it, but i tried it, and you can finger pick it.

hehe...no. actually, with the internet quality here in ghana, it's amazing i can even do anything on chordbook....let alone upload a vid on youtube. OH! crap, how could i forget...."sweet home alabama" by lynyrd skynyrd can be finger picked with ease. i think everyone knows how to play that song....

Ok ace, well...go to a place where you can upload a vid to tube and do 'sweet home' for us !
